At the edge of the Wrought-Iron Forest, Unit 7 encountered a "Glitch." It was another automaton, designated v0.0.9, stuck in a localized loop. It was attempting to plant a metal seed into a floor made of static.
Unit 7 left the forest behind, heading toward the horizon where the world simply ended in a sheer white void. It knew that to reach v0.2.0, it would have to find the source code hidden in the heart of the Great Engine.
