Abstract

The collaboration emerged following the Romanian version of the reality show Sunt celebru, scoate-mă de aici! (the local adaptation of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! ). The three performers—Ruby (a pop singer), Cătălin Moroșanu (a professional kickboxer), and Dorian Popa (an actor and singer)—were all contestants on the show. The title itself, which translates to "Leave the cuckoo alone," draws on Romanian folk metaphors while playing into the humor and personalities established by the trio during their time in the jungle.
