Barry becomes distressed after noticing that his friend group, the JTP (Jenkintown Posse), is beginning to show signs of aging, such as debating the merits of Tums over Gas-X. In an attempt to reclaim their youth, Barry decides to form a boy band called "The Downtown Boys". He enlists the help of a mall kiosk manager, Jean Calabasas (played by real-life New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre ), to launch their career. the JTP (Jenkintown Posse)
